Completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography from the Film & Television Institute of India, Pune (1991), one of India’s premier film institutes.

His diploma film Sundance Cafe (35mm B/W) was selected for the International Short Film Festival at Oberhausen, Germany (1992).

Acclaimed Film Educator with 20+ Years of Teaching
Taught cinematography, filmmaking, and film studies across leading institutions including LV Prasad Film & TV Academy, Satyajit Ray FTII, Loyola College, and NID.

Former HOD – Cinematography, LV Prasad Film Academy
Served as Professor and Head of the Cinematography Department (2006–2014), training students on Panavision Genesis, RED, and film formats.

Visiting Faculty Across Premier Institutions
Currently conducts workshops and teaches offline and online at LV Prasad College of Media Studies, Loyola College, NID, Light & Life Academy, and other institutions.

National Award–Winning Documentary Cinematographer
